I suspect that the sound was pretty good, particularly in comparison to U2's significant flop. My date, interested in the exhibit, found it to be a letdown. The Star Wars exhibit at both the Chicago MSI and the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History set a high standard, and while I didn't anticipate this one to measure up, it was still quite underwhelming.
The experience, overall, was enjoyable; however, it would have been much more satisfying at a different venue, and I doubt it would have been any pricier. I have to admit that the Orchestra just doesn't fit in Jerryworld. It seems that being on the floor may have influenced the sound quality.
I was disappointed to discover that the seat numbering for the sections was reversed from the displayed diagram at the time of purchase. Our seats in section G, numbers 4-5, were supposed to be in the center according to the diagram, but they were actually on the outer side. This type of bait-and-switch tactic is becoming too common and it significantly affected the average experience at Cowboys Stadium.
Moreover, there was no effort made to prevent people from walking through the cross aisles once the performance had started. For around 10-15 minutes after the show began and again after the intermission, there was a constant flow of unaware individuals passing in front of our seats. Allowing entry through the cross aisles rather than the center aisle is poor protocol in my view, highlighting that the staff and venue aren't particularly accommodating to orchestral events.
